The Color Factory

This past August, I got to spend an evening at The Color Factory with Ami and Kristin! It was a pop-up interactive exhibition in the city. It features work, celebrating color (duh) and material, from some amazing artists and collaborators like Jacob Dahlgren, Tom Stayte, Geronimo Balloons, Tosha Stimage, Stanton Jones, Andrew Neyer & Andy J. Miller, Carissa Potter, Jessica Hische, Rebecca Wright, Randi Brookman Harris, Leah Rosenberg and Erin Jang.

The exhibition was, of course, very Instagram-worthy. More importantly, we really enjoyed how interactive it was. Unlike some insta-sensations nowadays, the real experience was also mindlessly fun and therapeutic to walk through. It was thoughtfully and carefully crafted, which I really appreciated. I forgot to take photos at several points, but there were also self-serve DSLR setups to take photos at different points throughout the exhibition (by simply tapping a card, the camera would countdown so you and your buddies can run to the spot and pose!) so we ended up with some gems like these :')

Photos by me, except the last two.
